RAMPAGE — Tar & Bitumen Remover
RAMPAGE is a solvent-based degreaser engineered to dissolve tar, oil, stubborn grease, rustproofing and other petroleum residues fast—ideal for lower panels, jambs, hinges, engine bay areas and more. Use it to clear heavy, sticky contamination so wash and protection steps work better.
What RAMPAGE Does
- Dissolves tar & bitumen without excessive scrubbing.
- Breaks down oily films and rustproofing overspray.
- Speeds prep before contact wash, claying, polishing or protection.
Where to Use It
- Painted panels, wheel arches/liners, jambs, hinges, engine bay (painted/paint-safe areas).
- Avoid hot surfaces and freshly painted areas; always spot-test on sensitive trims and raw/uncoated metals.
Directions
- Work on a cool surface in shade. Pre-rinse loose grime.
- Spray RAMPAGE onto the target area or onto a microfiber for controlled application.
- Allow a short dwell while monitoring. Do not let product dry.
- Gently agitate as needed; wipe away dissolved residue.
- Follow with a pH-neutral wash to remove solvent traces, then proceed to decon/protection.
Pro Tip: Treat lower rocker panels and behind the wheels first, then perform your contact wash. This prevents dragging tar residue across clean paint.

- Solvent-based formula — wear gloves/eye protection and ensure ventilation.
- Keep away from hot panels and sensitive, uncoated materials; always test first.
- Rinse/wash accessories after use.
Good to Know
Keep a dedicated set of solvent towels and store RAMPAGE away from heat sources. Severely etched spots may still require light polishing after decontamination.
