How To Use

  1. Plate & pad: Verify the installed 6" DA plate; center a clean, appropriate pad.
  2. Prime: Add 3–4 pea-sized drops; spread at speed 1–2 using the soft-start trigger.
  3. Correct: Work a ~40 × 40 cm section with slow, overlapping passes; keep the pad flat with light, even pressure.
  4. Inspect: Wipe residue; adjust pad/product as needed and continue.
  5. Finish: Switch to a finishing pad and fine polish for maximum gloss and clarity.

Notes: Clean or swap pads often to manage heat and maintain cut/finish. Avoid heavy edge pressure on body lines. Use on cool panels, out of direct sun.

21mm vs 15mm Long-Throw DA Polishers
Feature 21 mm Long-Throw DA Polisher 15 mm Long-Throw DA Polisher
Orbit Size (Throw) Larger (21 mm) Standard (15 mm)
Correction Speed Fastest. Covers more area per rotation for quicker defect removal. Fast/Balanced. Highly effective; a bit less coverage per pass than 21 mm.
Ideal Panels Large, flat surfaces (hoods, roofs, doors, large SUVs, trucks, boats). All-around use, especially small to medium panels.
Maneuverability Lower. More prone to pad stalling on heavy curves/concave areas; trickier near edges. High. Excellent around body lines, pillars, bumpers with fewer stalls.
Standard Pad Size Typically a 6-inch pad. Typically a 5-inch pad.
User Fatigue Can generate slightly more vibration due to the larger motion. Generally smoother operation for longer sessions.
